| Education Qualification |
Engineers: Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Signal & Telecommunication engineering in Concerned Discipline.
Project Site Engineer: B. Tech/B.E. in Civil/ Electronics & Communications Engineering with Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in the field of Signaling & Telecommunications (for PSE-S&T) and experience in the field of Railway Construction Projects (for PSE-Civil) in Railway PSUs like RITES, IRCON, RVNL, DMRC, KRCL, JV Companies in the field of Railways under Govt. Control or in which State Government OR Central Government is having its shareholding. Graduate Engineering Apprentice Trainees: At Least 60% (for candidates belonging to General Category) in aggregate of all years & semesters in Degree in Civil/ Electrical Engineering granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. 55% in aggregate of all years & semesters in Degree in Civil/ Electrical Engineering for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

Upper Age Limits:
- Engineers: Up to 35 years.
- Project Site Engineer: Maximum age 32 years as on closing date of receiving applications. Age relaxation of 5 Years for SC/ ST & 03 years for OBC candidates will be applicable as per Govt. Instructions
