Upper Age Limits: Minimum Age 18 years and Maximum Age 30 years for Executive Trainee & 45 Year for Assistant Engineer. of the candidate shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2021. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/ PH & other categories in the upper age limit is as per HP Government Instructions.

Selection Process of Assistant Engineers is in Two Stages First Screening/ Preliminary Exam and Second Stage Personality Test. Syllabus of Screening/ Preliminary Exam is 80 questions of multiple choice of degree level in Civil/ Electrical Engineering subject and 10 questions consisting General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh and 10 questions consisting of General knowledge of National/ International affairs of 2 (Two) hours duration.”
