B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engineering)/ AMIE in Information Technology from any recognized University/ Institution.

Selection Process:
 For Assistant Engineer:

The selection process for the post of Assistant Engineer-Trainee, involves online computer based test (CBT) of 2 Hours duration followed by interview. online computer based test shall comprise of 100 objective type questions of Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part I – 80 questions related to professional subject and Part II – 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning. Based on merit of online computer based test maximum three times shortlisted candidates against one available vacancy in each category for every post code will be called for interview, which shall be of 15 marks. The document verification and interview shall be done at Raipur. The date of interview shall not be changed generally. Final selection will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in online computer based test and Interview put together. The selection will be subject to condition that candidates fulfill all required qualification and criteria prescribed for such appointment and submit all necessary certificates. The minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC category will be 40% and for SC/ST category will be 30% in Online computer based test (CBT).

 For Junior Engineer:

The selection process for the post of Junior Engineer-Trainee, involves online computer based test of 2 Hours duration. Online computer based test shall comprise of 100 objective type questions with Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part I – 80 questions related to professional subject and Part II – 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning. Based on merit of online computer based test, maximum three times candidates against one available vacancy in each category for every post code shall be called for document verification at Raipur. The date of document verification shall not be changed generally. Final selection will be based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in online computer based test. The selection will be subject to condition that candidates fulfill all required qualification and criteria prescribed for such appointment and submit all necessary certificates. The minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC category will be 40% and for SC/ST category will be 30% in Online computer based test (CBT).
