// Selection Process for UPPCL Recruitment 2021 //
The Shortlisting process will be only based on the Written Test. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held at Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Noida/ Greater Noida, and Meerut cities. Electricity service Commission, however, has the right to cancel any of the Examination City/ Center and/or add some other cities/centers depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure conditions, etc.
The test shall be of a 3 – Three-hour time with a total of 200 marks and shall comprise a total of 200 questions, out of 150 questions shall be from the Diploma Engineering level syllabus for the Post applied 20 (Twenty) questions of Awareness/ General Knowledge, 20 (Twenty) questions of Reasoning & 10 (Ten) questions of General Hindi. Each correct answer shall be taken 1 – one mark each and each wrong answer shall carry an additional negative mark of 1/4. Applicants who take less than 30% (Thirty) marks will be rejected for further process of shortlisting for UPPCL Junior Engineer Recruitment 2021.
