// Selection Methodology for CSPHCL Recruitment 2021 of Junior Engineer (JE) //
- The selection process for the post of JE (Civil) -Trainee, involves an online computer-based test (CBT) of 2 hours duration. A computer-based test shall comprise 100 objective-type questions with Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part 1 – 80 questions related to the professional subject and Part II – 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning. Based on the merit of the computer-based test, a maximum of three times candidates against one available vacancy in each category for every postcode shall be called for document verification at Raipur. The final selection will be based on a merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in an online computer-based test. The selection will be subject to the condition that candidates fulfill all required qualifications and criteria prescribed for such appointment and submit all necessary certificates. The minimum qualifying marks for UR / OBC category will be 40 % and for SC / ST category will be 30 % in the written exam.
- For every correct answer, One mark shall be awarded. Every wrong answer/mark ( i.e. 0.25 mark ) will be deducted.
- The Examination paper will be in Hindi and English only. However, in case of any typographical error in Hindi, the English version of the question paper shall prevail.
- The online examination will be conducted at ( a ) Raipur, ( b ) Bilaspur & ( c ) Bhilai – Durg, or any other place as decided by CSPHCL.
