Chenab Valley Power Projects [P] Limited (CVPPPL Recruitment for Trainee Engineers), intends to recruit 45 Trainee Engineers (Civil) for its Project sites through GATE-2020 in 03-phases. However, in the first Phase, recruitment shall be made for 20 vacancies as per the details are given below:

Essential Qualification: Full-time Regular BE/ B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engineering) in Civil from recognized Indian University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade for CVPPPL Recruitment 2020 for Trainee Engineers – Posts.
Upper Age Limits: The age of a candidate for applying for the above-mentioned post should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 31.12.2019. Age-Relaxation for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe 5 years and for Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years for CVPPPL Recruitment 2020 for Trainee Engineers Posts.
Application Fees: Male candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR) and OBC categories shall be required to pay an online application fee 500/-. SC/ ST/ PWD/ EWS / Female candidates Exempted to pay fees for CVPPPL Recruitment 2020 for Trainee Engineers Posts.

Selection Process: The interested candidates shall be required to apply and appear in the GATE-2020 examination scheduled to be held in the month of Feb 2020, the online registration form which is to be done w.e.f 03.09.2019 till 01.10.2019 as per the details are given below:

Only those candidates considered for shortlisting, who apply for recruitment in CVPPPL and have successfully qualified GATE-2020. The shortlisting shall be in the order of merit on the basis of GATE-2020 scores.
How to Apply: The candidate is required to apply for the post of Trainee Engineer (Civil) through the CVPPPL online application portal, the link for which shall be available on the CVPPPL website (www.cvppindia.com) w.e.f 01.01.2020 (1200 Hrs) till 31.01.2020 (Midnight). Only those Candidates who have registered with GATE-2020 and possess a valid GATE-2020 registration number can register online in Careers (job opportunities) section of the CVPPPLs website www.cvpppindia.com against recruitment advertisement no.
