Education Qualification |
| Assistant Engineer: BE/ B. Tech/ B. Sc. Degree in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Equivalent Degree from a recognized institute with not less than 60% marks for PSTCL Recruitment 2021. Junior Engineer: Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering recognized/ approved by State/Central Government Board, with a minimum of 60% marks. OR BE/ B. Tech/ B.Sc Engineering in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent degree recognized/ approved by AICTE. OR AMIE in Civil/ Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering with at least 50% marks from Institution of Engineers (India) Calcutta. Telephone Mechanic: Full-time regular 3 or 4 years Diploma in Electronics/ Communication Engineering recognized/ approved by State/ Central Government Board, with a minimum of 50% marks for PSTCL Recruitment 2021. |
Upper Age Limits: Eligibility of age limit as of 01.01.2021 for Assistant Engineer, Assistant Manager (IT) will be 20 to 37 years, and Eligibility of age limit as Junior Engineer & Telephone Mechanic will be 18 to 37 years. The upper age limit is relaxable five years for SC/ST and Backward Class applicants for PSTCL Recruitment 2021.

Shortlisting will be based on MCQ Type Objective Online Test. The question paper of Examination shall consist of 100 Number objective type questions (each question carrying 1 mark), with a provision of negative marking for a wrong answer @ 0.25 (1/4th) of the mark allotted for the correct answer, to be attempted online in a duration of 2 (Two) hours for PSTCL Recruitment 2021.
