| Candidates should possess four years’ full-time Degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Engineering OR three years full-time Engineering Diploma in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Engineering recognized by UGC & AICTE, State Government/ GOI. The essential education qualification from a recognized institute/ University in relevant brance with a minimum of 60% percentage in aggregate for General & EWS candidates and 50% percentage in aggregate in case of SC/ OBC (NCL)/ ST/ PWD applicants against reserved positions. |

The eligible candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of a discipline (Branch/ Stream) wise merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in the essential qualification.
provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria in the required Essential Qualification mentioned above.
In case the same % is secured by more than one candidate, the merit list will be drawn on the basis of their age i.e. higher the age, the higher is the position in the merit.
The shortlisted candidates shall be informed through e-mail along with uploading the list on the RITES website.
