Public Works Department (PWD Karnataka Recruitment), Online Applications are invited from qualified and interested candidates, under The Public Works Department Recruitment to the cadres of Assistant Engineer Grade-1 and Junior Engineers (Special) Rules, 2019 for filling up the vacancies in the Public Works Department in remaining original cadres of 570 Group-B Assistant Engineer Grade-1 posts from eligible Civil Engineering Degree holders and Group-C Grade Junior Engineers having Civil Engineering Diploma for 300 posts. Details of the recruitment are as below:

Junior Engineer: Must be a holder of a Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology and Material Management granted by the Board of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka.

Application Fees: Examination fee for General category, Category 2A, 2B, 3A 3B candidates Rs. 500 for Assistant Engineer post and Rs. 300 for Junior Engineer Posts. There is fees exemption to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled tribe/category 1and to Ex-military personnel /Physically handicapped candidates in other categories.

Selection Procedure: Recruitment will be done after considering only the marks scored in the Competitive Examination by the candidates for the posts, by arriving at Ranks calculated taking 85% marks scored in the Competitive Examination and 15% marks scored in Viva Voce Interview. The competitive examination contains an objective type multi-choice paper as per given below formate.
