Upper Age Limits: Upper Age limit 18 to 30 Years as on closing date of advertisement. Upper age relaxable by 5 years for ST/ SC as applicants. The maximum age limit is relaxable by 3 (Three) years for only those applicants belonging to the NCL for SJVN Recruitment Through Gate 2021.

How to Apply |
| Candidates should have registered themselves and appeared for the corresponding paper of GATE. Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through the Career section on SJVN’s website: www.sjvn.nic.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. The registration process for SJVN shall be available from 28/07/2021 to 31/10/2021. Applicants have to register online at the SJVN official website www.sjvn.nic.in with details of their GATE Examination of any of the three years 2021/2020/2019, Year of GATE Exam, GATE Application No, GATE Registration Number, and other required information for SJVN Recruitment Through Gate 2021. |

// Selection Process for SJVN Recruitment Through Gate 2021 //
The Shortlisting Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the respective paper of GATE Examination 2021/2020/2019 (score with which applied), Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. Eligible applicants should have appeared for the corresponding paper i.e Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Information Technology.
The candidate can apply with a GATE score of either of the three years 2021/2020/2019. No applicant securing less than 50% (Percentage) marks (out of 100) in the GATE Examination will be shortlisted. SC/ST/PWD candidates will be required to secure at least 40% marks (out of 100) in GATE Exam.
For calculation of the final score of an applicant, the weightage of marks obtained in GATE Examination, Group Discussion & Interview shall be as given below:
